Frame

A CSS framework from the year 2050

Frame is a new way to layout content and build interfaces. Combining ideas from 960.gs, Blueprint CSS, and a number of proprietary techniques, we've created one of the simplest, most fluid CSS frameworks of all time.

Features

We pride ourselves on the breadth and diversity of features included in Frame. From everyday text layout and typography to complex form fields, we cover all of the bases. And remember, we're fully open source, so you can use our code as you please.

MLA Formatting

Display any HTML document in standard MLA format. All of MLA's finest details are implemented, from the layout of tables and graphs to the width of margins in the print view.

Performance Minded

The libraries that we make available for hotlinking are optimized for the fastest downloads possible. All code is combined, minified, and compressed before being sent to the browser. Caching support is also implemented to further decrease transfer time.

Code and Documentation Support

Easily format your source code with syntax highlighting and support for the <code> tag. Documentation written for Frame comes out clean and easy to follow and understand

HTML 5 Support

Want to use the latest in web standards? We've got you covered. Frame works exceptionally well with HTML 5. In fact, most of our websites are written with HTML 5 (including this one).

Advanced Forms

Creating forms has never been easier. We give you a standard format to write your form elements in (along with libraries to generate the form element code automatically) and we take care of the rest. Use controls with units, line up your elements any way you like, and add semantically correct labels to your form with ease.

Modularity

Let's say you only need one part of the library. No problem! Just pass us instructions on which packages to include and we'll bundle it up for you.
